Abstract

The article overviews two existing international indicator systems for sustainable development (the indicator system of the UN Commission on Sustainable Development and the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) system), analyses them and identifies their drawbacks. Based on this analysis and experience of the Scientific school of sustainable development, the list of requirements for such system is proposed. The article was written as a part of the RFBR project № 12-06-00286-а.
