Abstract

The study presents arguments justifying the need for the development of the pulp and paper industry in Russia, and assesses its investment potential. The possibilities for the development of industry in the event of external barriers that correspond to modern realities, incl. due to restrictions on export-import activities. The role of the state in resolving the identified problems and measures to support them are determined. One of the representatives of this industry CJSC «Lambumiz» was considered and its characteristics were given, as well as a SWOT analysis was carried out, the strengths and weaknesses of the company were identified and maps of strategic groups were built.
